This is the surgery done in order to make thinner the big ‘cheeks‘ and is performed through an incision inside the mouth to localize the Bichat fat pads which are the ones that give the volume in this area, they are removed and the incision is done under local or general anesthesia.

It is not necessary to have the stitches removed and the patient can retake activities in two days. In some cases it is suggested to do this procedure with a double chin liposuction in order to have better results.
