The ears surgery or otoplasty is a procedure used mainly to rearrange the ear when they are very prominent (ear shaped like screen), when their shape is similar to an old telephone or when the upper earlobe is low.

Many children and even adults have a complex because their ears are noticeable and they try to cover them behind their hair. This imperfection can be corrected as an outpatient and under local anesthesia if the patient prefers, the incisions are done in the crease behind the ears which means they are imperceptible.
